I never received my tickets by email. What do I do now?
If you haven’t received your tickets, please reach out to Showpass directly and they will resend your email confirmation. They can be contacted at:

Can I buy a ticket at the gate?
There is a $5.00 surcharge for tickets purchased at the gate. Wait times may be longer during peak hours. It is suggested you purchase your tickets online ahead of time.
Are there any size restrictions for vehicles?
We do have restrictions on the size of vehicles that come through our event due to spacing and safety concerns. The limits are as follows:
- A maximum of 22ft in Length
- A maximum of 12ft in Height
Am I able to bring a bus?
Our maximum vehicle capacity is 16 for Van/Limo tickets. We also have restrictions on the size of vehicles that e currently do have a limit to the maximum amount of people in a vehicle with the highest capacity ticket being our Van/Limo Ticket that holds 16 people in a vehicle maximum.
We also have restrictions on the size of vehicles that come through our event due to spacing and safety concerns. The limits are as follows:

Where do I get my tickets once I have purchased them?
Once you have purchased your ticket it should be emailed directly to the email you provided during the time of purchase. If you are unable to locate the ticket in your email inbox please check your spam folder as sometimes the tickets can accidentally end up in there. If it is not in your spam folder then we recommend filling out a customer service ticket recovery form so that our team can send you your ticket as soon as possible.
Where is the event located?
Borealis Lights is located at: 47 Riel Dr., St. Albert, Canada. Please note: There is no entrance to Borealis Lights from Rodeo Drive.

What is Borealis Lights?
Borealis Lights is a Christmas Drive-Thru Light Display in the Kinsmen RV Park in St Albert. It was created for the people of St Albert, Edmonton, and surrounding communities and features over 800,000 twinkling holiday lights. As a community event, a portion of all ticket proceeds each year go to support a local organization in need.

What is your refund policy?
All sales are final with no refunds. Promotions and discounts cannot be added retroactively. Tickets may be exchanged for different dates and times during the 52-day event within the ticket exchange guidelines.
If the venue is permanently closed for the season due to unforeseen circumstances, including ‘inclement weather’, vehicle passes will be offered a full credit and/or refund at the discretion of Borealis Lights Management.
Do you have discounts for seniors?
Yes. If you are aged 65 or older, we offer a $5 discount on all purchases. Identification may be requested at the ticketing gate.
Are there flashing lights or loud noises?
There are no loud noises at the park aside from the music playing on the radio. There are flashing lights that could affect photosensitive people.
What is your weather policy?
Our bad weather policy is as follows:
Weather Conditions will be taken into consideration at 3:00 pm daily for the area of the city of St Albert. We will do our best to notify the ticket holders as quickly as possible if we need to close due to bad weather. For the safety of our staff and guests, Borealis Lights will be cancelled when the temperature goes below 30 degrees Celsius, or in the event of an extreme Environment Canada Winter Weather Alert. Cancellations Policy will be in effect only for the specific dates of below 30 degree temperature or when Environment Canada Weather warnings are in effect.
There are no cash refunds. Tickets can be moved to another day where space is available. In the event a date cannot be accommodate (ie all future dates and times have been sold out) a credit will be issued for the following year or a refund may be provided at the discretion of Borealis lights management.
Notifications: If a decision is made to cancel the event for a specific date Borealis Lights will email all ticket holders, providing as much advance notice as possible. Notice will also be posted on the Borealis lights website and on their social media pages.

Can I take pictures at the light park?
Yes! We encourage you to take as many pictures as you can. If you do post them on social media tag us and let us know what you think of the event!
Can I have people in the back of my pickup?
Passengers must stay inside the vehicle. No passengers are permitted in the back of pickup trucks. Please follow local traffic safety laws.
How long is the driving experience?
It takes approximately 20-25 minutes to drive through the light park at a maximum speed of 3km/hr. We do recommend taking pictures to absorb the experience.
Will I need to turn off my headlights?
Yes, please turn off your headlights when you drive through the Borealis Lights Drive-Thru Display. If you cannot turn your lights off, please dim your lights.
Are pets allowed?
We do allow pets as long as they are kept within your vehicle. Pets are not allowed outside to relieve themselves while on the event grounds.
How do I apply my promo code to my ticket?
During the checkout process after adding tickets to your cart, select the “Enter Promo, Discount or Credit Code” button to input your discount code.
Will there be bathrooms on site?
Bathroom access is limited, port-a-potties will be available in the light park waiting area, and at the light park exit. No toilets will be available within the light park area.
